Role- Head of Growth/New Business & Client Strategy 

Job Description 

Haymaker has been able to continuously grow based on deep relationships and a reputation. However as we look to find new ways for growth, we believe there is an opportunity to expand, cultivate and further develop our collective current network (including the network of the person in this role) to selectively grow our business in the form of new clients through regular and active engagement. This role would be responsible for creating, cultivating and managing opportunities into becoming clients with Haymaker while also taking the lead on Client Strategy and collaborating on Execution. You would be involved in regular aspects of Client interaction and likely serve as one of the faces of Haymaker.

Employment - Contract. Get the Job Done- Part time to start 

Compensation - Negotiable

Growth- This position could easily turn full time and/or into a partner/equity role for the right person with the right track record. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with Haymaker clients, partners, advisors, entrepreneurs and investors across our ecosystem.

  • Grow the referral business through our network

  • Maintain opportunity pipeline and generate revenue forecasts

  • Identify, develop and maintain business relationships with partners, and gain exposure to partners’ business initiatives to positively impact growth

  • Leading the end-to-end deal process from strategy development and business case modeling to deal negotiation and due diligence to cross-functional integration

  • Serve as an external face of the organization, in collaboration with the Partners and other team members, to enhance Haymakers's revenue generation, impact, visibility, brand recognition, and credibility

Requirements 

  • Highly experienced in client management with the ability to close deals

  • Extremely adaptable with an ability to iterate quickly across multiple projects

  • Comfortable being in a highly transparent environment

  • Strong communication skills 

  • Self starter with keen interest in learning and growing

  • Bonus: Experience in a Growth role with creating and managing digital marketing with email, web, and social campaigns
